The only correlation with shorts this book has offer, is in the title. If you want a book about feature film in general, there is a lot better out there. Linda Aronson, David Trottier and others. When I look at the rating of this book I can only assume that Linda Cowgill has a lot of friends.
Ich war überrascht, denn die letzten Bücher über das Drehbuchschreiben waren eher mittelmäßig. Doch dieses ist nur noch von DER Drehbuchautorenbibel "Story" von Robert McKee zu übertreffen! Es ist wunderbar leicht verständlich und auf den Punkt gebracht geschrieben, was man ja selten von Büchern aus dieser Sparte kennt. Ein sehr gut zusammengefasstes erstes Kapitel, in dem die Grundlagen vermittelt werden, die übrigens auch auf einen Langspielfilm anwendbar sind. Die weiteren Kapitel gehen detaillierter auf das Schreiben für einen Kurzfilm ein.Das Buch ist insgesammt sehr gut gegliedert, was das Nachschlagen wesentlich vereinfacht.Meine Empfehlung: KAUFEN, denn es sollte im Regal eines jeden Drehbuchautoren stehen!
